About the opportunity
Join a small, collaborative team as a Litigation Associate, working on a varied disputes practice with a particular focus on construction law and building disputes. You’ll also run matters across commercial litigation, insolvency and restructuring litigation, and debt recovery and enforcement. The leading partner has a strong track record of mentoring and developing lawyers, and the firm plans to grow over the next couple of years. You’ll get close guidance, real responsibility and a clear path to progress.
About you
An Associate-level lawyer is ideal. However, the firm is happy to speak with lawyers from 12 months to 5 years PAE who are looking for their next step. You will bring:
- Experience in litigation, ideally with some exposure to construction or commercial disputes
- Strong drafting, research and analytical skills
- A proactive, organised approach and the ability to manage matters with appropriate autonomy
- An interest in legal technology and efficient ways of working
- Admission to practice in Queensland
