Site Foreman - Immediate Start | Northern Beaches
Reporting to the Site Manager and Project Manager, you'll own what happens on site day to day.
That means supervising trades, keeping the sequence tight, holding the quality line, and running a safe, clean site.
Key responsibilities
- Supervising and coordinating subcontractors, trades and labour every day
- Making sure works are built to the approved drawings, specs and scope
- Inspecting works and picking up defects and non-conforming work early
- Helping with planning and sequencing to keep the programme on track
- Reporting progress, delays and issues to the Site Manager
- Running inductions, pre-starts and toolbox talks
- Enforcing WHS compliance, identifying hazards and putting the right controls in place
- Keeping site diaries, safety documentation and checklists up to date
- Tracking deliveries, materials and site activity
About you
- 5+ years in residential or commercial construction
- Current or recent experience as a Foreman, Leading Hand or Site Supervisor
- Exposure across all stages, from structure through to finishes
- A sharp eye for detail, particularly on high-end finishes
- Confident reading drawings, specs and scopes of work
- Solid grasp of sequencing and trade coordination
- A clear, direct communicator who gives trades a straight answer
- White Card and current driver's licence
- Available to start immediately or on short notice
