Join a small, highly productive, agile team where you’ll take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing using Aurion payroll, supporting pay runs for our permanent and contract workforce. Our payroll team is part of our People & Culture team, based in our head office here in Toowong, Brisbane.

In this role you will:
- Process weekly and fortnightly payroll for 500–1,000 employees across two companies
- Use Aurion payroll software for end-to-end processing
- Manage queries and award interpretation
- Process employee updates (new hires, pay rate changes, internal transfers)
- Support portal and onboarding functions
- Maintain accurate records
- Drive continuous improvement in payroll processes
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and HR teams
About You
- Proven end to end payroll processing experience
- Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and tax regulations across states
- Skilled in award interpretation and compliance
- Excellent reporting and communication skills
- Highly motivated, process-driven, and above all - detail-oriented. Attention to detail is a must
- Enjoy working in a collaborative, agile environment
- Experience with back-end payroll functions, such as system configuration, is a bonus but not essential.
