Dash Group Trades & Labour is currently seeking an experienced OH&S Supervisor / Site Safety Officer for an ongoing construction project in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong construction background who is confident managing day-to-day site safety, contractor compliance and maintaining a safe working environment.

Dash Group Trades & Labour is currently seeking an experienced OH&S Supervisor / Site Safety Officer for an ongoing construction project in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong construction background who is confident managing day-to-day site safety, contractor compliance and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inductions for new workers and subcontractors
- Review contractor Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for compliance
- Complete daily site safety inspections and audits
- Identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions
- Monitor high-risk construction activities and ensure appropriate safety controls are in place
- Maintain site safety documentation and compliance records
- Assist with maintaining site amenities, housekeeping and general site standards
- Provide first aid assistance when required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a construction site safety or OH&S supervisory role
- Strong understanding of Victorian construction OHS requirements
- Experience reviewing SWMS and managing high-risk construction activities
- Current First Aid Level 2 certification (HLTAID011 or equivalent)
- Construction White Card
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with subcontractors and site management
- Ability to work independently and proactively identify safety issues
Highly Regarded:
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety
- ESV Electrical Spotter accreditation
- Current Forklift Licence (LF)
