The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Family Law Partner - or a senior family lawyer ready to step into partnership - to join the firm and further develop its well established family law offering.
This is not a "bring a huge book or don't apply" opportunity.
The firm is looking for someone with an established reputation and some portable work, client following or proven referrer network - a modest practice may be sufficient for the right candidate. What matters most is that you are capable of building from a strong platform and want to play a meaningful role in the future growth of the practice.
You'll have access to the firm's broader client base and referral networks while retaining significant autonomy over your own practice.
The Work
The practice will involve a broad range of sophisticated family law matters, including:
- Complex property settlements
- Acting for high-net-worth and business-owner clients
- Divorce and separation
- Spousal maintenance and child support
- Domestic violence
- Mediation and alternative dispute resolution
- Complex family law negotiations and litigation
About You
We would be interested in speaking with:
- Existing Family Law Partners
- Special Counsel / senior practitioners with the capability and ambition to step into partnership
- Lawyers with an established reputation and some degree of portable practice / referrer network
- Strong relationship builders who are commercially minded and comfortable developing their own practice
- Technically strong practitioners with excellent client-management skills
- Collaborative lawyers who want to contribute to the broader firm rather than operate in a silo
