Daisy's Garden Supplies is a respected Victorian family-owned business. We have been supplying high quality building, garden & landscaping supplies to Melbourne, Geelong and beyond for nearly 45 years. The Daisy's team currently consists of about 200 people, working across 10 stores and 4 production sites, from Pakenham and Mornington to Torquay and Colac.
The role
As an Assistant Store Manager you will:
- Help lead and develop a team of Drivers, Yard Assistants, Retail Assistants, and Store Allrounders (6-20 people, store dependent)
- Contribute to achieving sales and budget for your store
- Manage inventory, yard presentation, and safety
- Coordinate the store's trucks and the day's delivery run sheet
- Provide excellent customer service to trade and retail customers, from weekend gardeners to large builders
Hours of the role
Our store opening hours differ between stores. Depending on the store and the day, our stores open between 6.30-7am and close between 3.30-4.30pm. All stores are closed on Sundays and most public holidays.
Skills & experience

- A willingness to learn to operate mobile equipment and drive a truck
