We are looking for a senior journalist with a passion for investigative reporting and breaking exclusive stories across all areas of news to join our Sydney newsroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce original, exclusive content that attracts and engages Daily Mail audiences
- Chase leads on breaking news events across Australia and on occasion in the Asia-Pacific region
- Be able to present to camera on major stories
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- At least 4-5 years of news reporting experience
- Strong writing and editing skills
- The ability to conduct thorough research, gather evidence and construct well-reasoned narratives that inform and engage our readers
- A keen analytical mind coupled with a relentless curiosity
- A strong understanding of legal issues related to journalism
- Must be flexible regarding shift patterns (including weekends)
