Dahlsens Family Group of Companies is a proud, long-standing partner to Australia's builders, from local trades and serious renovators to large-scale residential and commercial projects. As an Australian family owned and run business, we are committed to supporting the industry and the communities we serve.

We offer a true whole-of-house solution, supporting the build from the ground up - from wall frames and trusses through to doors, hardware, windows, roofing, kitchens, bathrooms, and lifestyle cabinetry. We are here to make building simpler, smarter, and more reliable.

With a legacy dating back to 1877, we continue to evolve, helping builders get the job done right and this is just the beginning.

As a Retail Assistant at Dahlsens Mitre 10 Deniliquin, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a positive and productive shopping experience for all our customers – from local tradies and builders through to weekend DIYers and gardeners. As a central figure in daily operations, you will be the face of the store, delivering excellent customer service and keeping the store running smoothly and efficiently.

Importantly, this role also includes a hands‐on administrative component. Alongside your customer‐facing duties, you will take ownership of key back‐of‐house tasks including processing invoices, receipting of goods into the system, inventory reconciliation and general store administration. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential - every invoice checked, every delivery receipted correctly, and every record kept up to date helps the store run on time and on budget.

Reporting to the Branch Manager (or Branch Supervisor), you will receive coaching, direction and mentoring to help you grow in the role. Your day will balance assisting customers at the counter, maintaining visual merchandising standards, keeping stock replenished, and sitting down to work through the invoices, receipting and admin that keeps the store running behind the scenes.

This is a hands‐on, varied retail role for someone who loves a chat with customers, takes pride in accuracy and detail, and brings a positive, can‐do attitude every day.
