Currumbin Clinic is a 104-bed private mental health hospital located on the Southern Gold Coast, delivering high quality care and positive patient outcomes. We have a team of dedicated Psychiatrists, Medical, Nursing, Allied and Administrative staff who provide expert care in the management and treatment of all acute mental health disorders.
About the Role: Reporting to the Hospital Services Manager, the successful applicant will have a working knowledge of the principles of safety within a health care environment and be able to multi-skill between the Environmental Services & Catering Departments. The role is a casual position, and we are seeking someone with a flexible approach to an ever-changing environment.
- General cleaning knowledge.
- Work both independently and within a team structure.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
- High standard of customer service and team approach.
- Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and to prioritise work effectively.
- Proven ability in a similar position.
- The ability to follow instruction from chef.
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Certificate in Safe Food Handling.
- Experience working as a Catering Assistant.
Vaccination Preventable Disease: It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment: Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (chicken pox), Pertussis (whooping cough), Diphtheria and Tetanus. You must be able to provide serology evidence and a VPD form for the above-mentioned vaccinations and will be asked by the recruiting manager to supply this evidence if you are the preferred candidate for the role.
