CUPCKE Apparel makes custom performance apparel for triathlon clubs, cycling teams, run crews and events across Australia and the US. This role takes over the day to day of looking after custom clients. You will be the person who makes sure every order moves from first enquiry to kit in hand without anything slipping through.

You start casual, learning clients, product and how a custom order runs from design brief to delivery, with the founders alongside you. Once you are running orders on your own, the role moves to full time. From there you take ownership of client accounts and run client services end to end.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the relationship between clients and the design team, and keep every custom order on track.
  • Take new custom orders from clubs, teams and events, and set them up correctly from day one.
  • Be the main point of contact for clients from first enquiry through to delivery.
  • Sit between client and designer: gather design briefs, pass on feedback clearly, and keep design rounds moving.
  • Manage artwork approvals, sizing, quantities and order details with a sharp eye for errors.
  • Place and track factory orders and keep clients informed on production and delivery.
  • Keep the CRM and order tracking current so nothing is sitting unowned.
  • Handle customer emails and messages with care and speed.
  • Support Shopify product set up and online order admin.

About you

  • Strong attention to detail. Custom apparel has a lot of moving parts and small mistakes are expensive.
  • Organisation. You like systems, lists and knowing where everything is up to.
  • Clear, friendly written communication. Most of this job is email and messages.
  • The ability to manage several orders at different stages at once without dropping any.
  • At least a year in a customer facing or coordination role, such as hospitality, retail, front desk or events.
  • Reliable and on time. We are a small team and people count on each other.
  • An understanding of triathlon, cycling or running is nice to have.
  • Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, Canva or monday.com is nice to have.
