Role Overview:
As a Assistant Venue Manager you will join the core management team, collaborating closely to create an outstanding guest experience and foster a positive and motivated work environment for our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate proficiency in high-volume, fast-paced bar, hosting, and expediting services.
- Lead and develop the FOH Team, nurturing their skills and growth.
- Perform various service roles as needed, including hosting, expediting, and bartending.
- Monitor and manage reservations to optimize guest satisfaction.
- Facilitate opening and closing procedures as required.
- Ensure timely completion of daily and nightly FOH tasks.
- Uphold company standards, policies, and procedures during shifts.
- Serve as a point of escalation for customer issues, complaints, and inquiries, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Foster a cohesive team culture that promotes collaboration and excellence.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced venue environment.
- High-volume, fast-paced bar, host and pass experience is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills.
- A genuine passion for the hospitality industry.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, motivating and guiding staff to exceed expectations.
- Strong team-building and cultural enhancement skills.
- In-depth industry knowledge and insight.
- Proactive approach to resolving conflicts.
- Valid VIC Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
