About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Technology Architect. You’ll work on a large-scale, security-focused network and collaboration platform engagement, designing and delivering technology architecture that is secure, scalable, and aligned with strategic objectives.
This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role. You’ll be the go‑to subject matter expert, guide technical decisions across multiple teams, and work closely with stakeholders to turn complex business requirements into practical, robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end technology architecture for platforms, products, and engagements, making sure solutions meet performance, capability, and scalability requirements.
- Develop and refine architectural frameworks, standards, and patterns that align with strategic business goals and technical requirements.
- Lead cross-functional discussions to ensure architectural consistency and seamless integration across projects and workstreams.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and solutions to problems that span multiple teams.
- Lead and support the team to perform effectively, taking responsibility for team decisions and contributing to key project and architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to translate business needs into secure, scalable technology solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend their adoption to enhance platform capability, resilience, and security.
- Embed information security principles and controls throughout the architecture lifecycle.
- Identify, assess, and manage delivery risks, working with project leadership on mitigation strategies.
- Mentor team members, sharing expertise and guiding complex problem-solving.
- Produce high-quality architecture documentation, including solution designs, roadmaps, and decision records.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, including architecture, configuration, governance, and integration within enterprise environments.
- Proven experience as a Technology, Solution, or Enterprise Architect delivering complex, large-scale solutions.
- Strong ability to design solutions that balance performance, scalability, security, and usability.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and influencing decisions across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Highly Desirable
- Expert knowledge of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and related frameworks (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001).
- Experience designing solutions for secure or sensitive information environments.
