TheExercise and Simulation Planneris a keyposition withinthe Fleet Lethality organisation focusedon advancing and integrating synthetic warfighting capabilities.This role directlyimpactsthe Navy’s ability to train andoperateeffectively within single service, joint, andinternational contexts by ensuringcutting-edgesimulation technologies and methodologies are employed. The position enhances interoperability with joint and allied partners,ultimately contributingto the operational readiness and strategicobjectivesof the RAN.
The roleoperateswith a high degree of autonomy under general direction from senior leadership. The incumbent is expected to exercise expert judgment and initiative in fulfilling the duties, while regularly consulting with key stakeholders and reporting progress.The duties involve complex technical, operational, and strategic considerations, requiring the ability to analyse diverse inputs and develop innovative solutions.
