We’re seeking a physically fit and experienced Storesperson with Forklift licence for an ongoing position based in Acacia Ridge. This is a temp role to fill in for holiday relief but has the possibility of turning into a full time and ongoing position. This isn’t your typical warehouse role – you will be working with parts of large machinery and doing some basic assembly with custom fitouts. This is an ongoing Monday to Friday position offering steady ongoing work with a reputable national company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manual handling, picking and packing of stock and parts;
- Forklift operation – daily use (LF licence essential);
- Ability to do some general assembly or custom accessory fitting;
- Moving and storing inventory;
- Pre-delivery preparation;
To be successful you’ll need:
- Proven experience in a warehouse or stores environment;
- Valid High Reach Forklift Licence (LF) Essential;
- Good with hand and power tools;
- Strong work ethic and reliability;
- Understanding of stock and inventory systems;
- Good physical fitness for manual handling tasks;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Able to complete manual tasks – the role will involve manual lifting, bending, squatting and kneeling;
- Available for immediate interview!
