About the role
The MR Driver / Warehouse Operator role is a full-time position, based at Port Macquarie, NSW. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will join our Complete Plaster & Reo store (soon to become a Gyprock Trade Centre) delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.
In this role you will:
- Strive for customer service excellence by working closely with the team to ensure accurate execution of stock movements and maintenance of stock.
- Include unloading and loading of trucks, customer pickups, and customer deliveries.
- Ensure documentation, labelling, and product presentation requirements are adhered to, as well as chain of responsibility requirements.
- Assist in the deliveries of Gyprock to customers and work within the warehouse.
- Manual lifting is required for the role.
Your standard hours are Monday to Friday, from 6:30am to 2:30pm. Any hours worked more than 38 hours per week will be paid at the applicable overtime rates.
What you bring to the role
- A Forklift (FL) licence is desirable; however, candidates willing to obtain one are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills and listening skills, with the ability to build relationships.
