CSA Specialised Services, part of the Waste Services Group (WSG), is seeking an organised and proactive HSQ Compliance Coordinator to support our Victorian operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in helping our business maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety and Quality compliance across multiple projects and sites.
Working closely with operational teams, clients, medical providers and key stakeholders, you will help ensure our people can perform their work safely, legally and efficiently every day.
About the Role
Reporting to the HSQ Manager VIC, you will provide end-to-end administration and coordination of safety, compliance and injury management activities across the business. You will be a key link between operations, compliance requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate incident and injury reporting, investigations and notifications.
- Support injury management and return-to-work programs, including medical appointments and stakeholder coordination.
- Maintain compliance registers, certifications and accreditation requirements.
- Manage customer and contractor compliance portals.
- Assist operational teams with training records, inductions and compliance documentation.
- Support tender submissions and client compliance requirements.
- Coordinate and maintain Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), rescue plans and safety management documentation.
- Assist with procurement and management of safety equipment and inspections.
- Conduct workplace inspections and attend client meetings as required.
- Prepare compliance reports, KPIs and safety performance metrics.
- Support ongoing compliance with ISO standards and certification requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in a Health & Safety, Compliance, RTW, or similar coordination role.
- Strong administrative and organisational capabilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
Highly Regarded
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent).
- Experience in injury management and return-to-work coordination.
- Experience working within an industrial, environmental or waste management environments.
- Exposure to ISO management systems and compliance frameworks.
