  • Read and follow drawings, work instructions and build documentation.
  • Use hand tools and soldering equipment to assemble electronic components and sub-assemblies.
  • Operate SMT (surface-mount) equipment to place and assemble components.

About you

  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, and carry out maintenance and calibration.
  • Carry out quality control checks and inspections.
  • Review customer drawings and data for manufacturability, and give clear feedback.
  • Design stencils from approved customer data.
  • Keep accurate documentation, records and traceability for every job.

About you

  • A qualification in electronics, electrical or mechatronics engineering, or equivalent industry experience (a degree is welcome but not required).
  • Working knowledge of electronic design and manufacturing, including PCB design and assembly.
  • Experience with an ECAD tool, ideally Altium Designer.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults methodically.
