Located just minutes from Macquarie Park Metro station, our hotel caters to a diverse mix of business and leisure travelers.
As a Demi Chef, you will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards
- Help to develop new menu items and recipes
- Manage and train junior kitchen staff
- Ensure that the kitchen is clean and organized at all times
- Monitor food stock levels and order supplies as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Assist with the planning and execution of special events and catering functions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Demi Chef or similar role
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a passion for cooking
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
