School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences at CQUniversity is seeking an engaging and experienced academic who is passionate about inspiring the next generation of medical science professionals. As a Senior Lecturer, you will contribute to excellence in teaching, research and academic leadership within the Bachelor of Medical Science and related postgraduate programs.
You will deliver engaging learning experiences, lead curriculum innovation, supervise higher degree research candidates and contribute to a vibrant culture of scholarship and collaboration. Working within a supportive and research-informed environment, you will have opportunities to strengthen your research profile, build industry partnerships and influence professional practice. Position Requirements:
- Completion of a doctoral qualification (PhD) in a relevant discipline.
- Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one (e.g., Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education).
- Knowledge of higher education issues and ability to collaborate across the University.
- Proven experience engaging with students and supporting their educational development through multi-modal delivery strategies.
- Experience developing innovative curriculum and learning materials that support positive student outcomes.
- Strong research track record with publications and capacity to contribute to the School’s research.
