Evaluate the electrical components and control mechanisms used in window-fashion products to assess
their functionality, reliability and suitability for intended applications.
Conduct performance trials on motorised window coverings, control units and associated electrical
assemblies, recording operational results and identifying deviations from specified requirements.
Investigate electrical and control-system malfunctions, analyse potential causes and recommend practical
corrective measures to improve product performance.
Assist in developing and refining electrical layouts, connection diagrams and technical specifications for
product modifications and new system configurations.
Examine product samples, electrical assemblies and completed units to identify defects, inconsistencies or
performance issues before release or installation.
Support the integration and configuration of motors, sensors, switching devices and electronic control
components used in automated window-covering systems, where applicable.
Collect and analyse technical measurements, compare results against design parameters and prepare
reports outlining system performance, test findings and recommended improvements.
Assess component specifications and technical supplier information to determine compatibility with existing
products and operational requirements.
Assist with estimating electrical component requirements, material quantities and associated costs for
product development, modification and maintenance activities.
Coordinate technical investigations with suppliers and service personnel to resolve recurring component
failures and improve product reliability.
Develop and maintain technical records covering test procedures, inspection outcomes, equipment
performance and corrective actions.
Contribute to the implementation of preventive maintenance procedures and quality-control measures for
relevant electrical testing equipment and systems.
Monitor relevant electrical safety requirements and technical standards applicable to the company’s
products and work processes.
