We areseeking a Planning Officer to join our Development Team and help deliverquality planning outcomes across the municipality.
You will work on a varietyof planning applications, provide advice to the public and developers, andcontribute to the sustainable growth of our region.
- What you will be doing
- Assessing andprocessing planning permit applications.
- Providing planning advice to residents, developers and internal stakeholders.
- Conducting site inspections and preparing reports and recommendations.
- Assisting with planning scheme amendments and compliance matters.
- Buildingpositive relationships with the community and development industry.
- What you will bring
- Aqualification in Town Planning, Urban Studies or a related field (or currentlystudying with relevant experience).
- Knowledge of planning legislation and statutory planning processes.
- Strongorganisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Well-developedcommunication and report writing skills.
- A commitmentto customer service and continuous improvement.
- A current Victorian Driver Licence.
- A Police Check will be conducted on the preferred applicant.

What we offer?
- Permanent Full-Time role with genuine work-life balance
- Salary rangingbetween $78,873 and $89,807 per annum dependent upon qualifications andexperience plus 15% superannuation.
- Four weeksannual leave + 17.5 % leave loading
- 12 dayspersonal (sick/carer’s) leave

- Long serviceleave (pro-rata after 7 years)
