- Partner with Council business areas to identify marketing opportunities and deliver targeted campaigns that increase awareness, engagement and participation.
- Develop marketing and communications plans, including creating compelling copy, sourcing imagery and preparing content for promotional materials.
- Ensure consistent and effective application of Council's brand and sub-brands across marketing activities and collateral.
- Produce promotional materials, including posters and flyers, using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Prepare creative briefs and collaborate with graphic designers and external suppliers throughout the production of marketing collateral.
- Monitor and evaluate campaign effectiveness to inform future marketing activities and support continuous improvement.
- Provide proactive advice and support to internal stakeholders on communications tools, marketing approaches and strategies to engage staff and the community.
- Contribute to broader communications and public relations activities as required, including communication planning, assisting with live streaming of Council meetings and participating in a rotational on-call arrangement for media and social media enquiries on weekends and public holidays.
