About the Role:
Join Canberra Health Services and help shape the future of digital healthcare. As a Clinical Informatics Officer, you will be part of a dedicated clinical informatics team responsible for supporting, optimising and enhancing the Digital Health Record (DHR). Working at the intersection of clinical practice, digital health systems and operational workflows, you will ensure the DHR remains safe, effective and user-focused, supporting high-quality patient care while aligning with organisational priorities, national standards and service delivery needs.
In this diverse and rewarding role, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of DHR functionality, usability, clinical decision support and reporting capability. Working collaboratively with clinicians, operational teams and digital health partners, you will identify opportunities to enhance system capability, provide expert clinical informatics advice on DHR configuration and optimisation, and support the delivery of projects and change initiatives that strengthen digital health outcomes across Canberra Health Services.
You will also play a key role in supporting education and training activities, contributing to the development of standardised approaches to DHR enhancement, and providing advice and briefings to support informed decision-making by senior stakeholders.
Note: Under the ACTPS employment framework you may be placed in another role where required for the efficient administration of the service.
