- Multifaceted Customer Service Technician
- JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a versatile and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Multifaceted Customer Service Technician.
This role combines hands-on maintenance and labour tasks with frontline customer service responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a dynamic environment.
As a Customer Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers by providing prompt and reliable service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and sanitary work environment.
- Conduct regular maintenance inspections on equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety standards.
- Handle refuelling of equipment and vehicles as needed.
- Undertake deliveries as requested.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of portable toilets.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on small engines, diggers, EWPS (Elevated Work Platforms), and other equipment.
- Assist with the setup and pack down of temporary fencing as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and customer interactions using computerised systems.
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel or providing assistance as needed.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn new skills as required.
- Work effectively under pressure, managing time and tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School, Trade or Diploma
- Valid Driver's license
- PREFERRED – Forklift license, HRW, Yellow Card, MR-HR Truck License.
- Basic mechanical aptitude & previous mechanical experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic hand tools for repairs/maintenance
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Ability to safely lift & perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Follow directions/instructions from peers & management.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
