CoreStaff is looking for an energetic, organised and motivated person to join our team at our Eastern Creek office as a Recruitment Consultant. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, loves keeping things organised and is keen to learn. You don’t need to be an experienced recruiter – we’re looking for the right attitude, initiative and willingness to learn.

Working alongside our Account Manager, you’ll play an important role in supporting our recruitment operations, helping connect great people with great opportunities across the construction, manufacturing, logistics and other blue-collar industries. Every day will be different, giving you the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of recruitment, develop valuable skills and build a long-term career with CoreStaff.

What you’ll be doing

No two days will be exactly the same. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing general administration support, including data entry, scanning and archiving
  • Screening applications and booking candidate interviews
  • Preparing and posting job advertisements
  • Maintaining candidate availability and our recruitment database
  • Issuing and maintaining candidate inductions
  • Managing candidate licences, tickets and documentation
  • Maintaining our PPE register
  • Supporting recruitment activities and helping keep the office running smoothly
  • Assisting the team wherever needed to ensure our clients and candidates receive great service

What we’re looking for

We’re more interested in who you are and how you approach your work than how many years of recruitment experience you have. You'll be someone who:

  • Is organised, reliable and has great attention to detail
  • Has a positive, energetic and friendly personality
  • Is confident communicating with people and enjoys building relationships
  • Takes initiative and isn’t afraid to get stuck in
  • Has a genuine can-do attitude
  • Can multitask and stay organised in a fast-paced environment
  • Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems
  • Is keen to learn, develop new skills and take on new challenges
  • Is resilient, proactive and motivated to succeed

Previous recruitment experience is highly regarded, and experience in administration, construction, manufacturing or logistics would be an advantage – but it’s not essential. If you’re ready to take the next step, learn something new and become part of the CoreStaff team at Eastern Creek, we’d love to hear from you!
