A federal government client is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in Angular and Nginx to support a major migration and optimisation project.
Security Clearance: Must hold or be eligible for NV1 (Negative Vetting Level 1)
Contract: 12 months + up to 24 months extension
- Infrastructure Setup & Migration: Design, configure, and optimise Angular/Nginx infrastructure to support a high-visibility platform migration (PPC+).
- Deployment & Maintenance: Deploy and support Angular apps running on Nginx/Node.js with a focus on reliability, scalability, and secure operations.
- Automation: Use Python scripting and GitLab to automate workflows and streamline application migrations.
- Knowledge Transfer: Work closely with internal teams to document processes, run training sessions, and mentor staff for a smooth transition.
- Performance Optimisation: Monitor infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning solutions.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all deployments meet security and compliance standards expected of enterprise-level federal environments.
Technical Skills Required:

- Node.js v20
- Python
- Ansible
Must have experience in installing, configuring, customising and maintaining Nginx server applications. Migration of Angular applications from Nginx servers to other platforms.
