Are you a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice looking to further your career within commercial maintenance? We are currently seeking motivated apprentices to join a large on-site maintenance team within a prestigious commercial building. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of electrical systems while working alongside experienced tradespeople in a stable, long-term environment. Working on a single-site location, you'll benefit from consistent mentoring, exposure to complex building services, and excellent career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
- Reactive electrical maintenance and fault finding
- Testing and inspection of electrical systems
- Lighting maintenance and upgrades
- Emergency and exit lighting testing
- Switchboard inspections and maintenance
- Assisting with electrical installations and minor projects
- Completing maintenance reports and service documentation
- Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in accordance with regulations
Requirements:
- Current 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprenticeship
- Previous commercial maintenance experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Current White Card
- Commitment to completing your apprenticeship and developing your technical skills
