We are currently seeking an experienced Building Manager to join a well-established property and strata management organisation, managing a busy residential building in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Manager who enjoys being hands-on, taking ownership of their building and working closely with residents, the Owners Corporation, strata management and contractors.
The organisation has a strong presence across the property and strata sector, with established systems, professional support and a large portfolio of residential communities.
The Role:
- Manage a single residential site of approximately 90 lots
- Single Strata Plan
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the building
- Manage contractors, maintenance and site operations
- Build strong relationships with residents, owners and key stakeholders
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance and building services
- Assist with compliance, safety and essential services requirements
- Work closely with strata management and the Owners Corporation
- Proactively identify and resolve issues across the building
- Maintain a high standard of presentation and service
About You:
- 2-3+ years’ experience as a Building Manager
- Strong residential Building Management experience
- Confident managing contractors and multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of a busy site
- Professional presentation and a proactive approach
- Strong understanding of building operations, maintenance and compliance
- Strata/BMC experience is highly regarded
