Core Talent is working with a well-established Sydney-based remedial contractor to appoint an experienced Contracts Administrator as part of their ongoing growth.
The business specialises in building remediation, concrete repair, façade works, waterproofing and structural upgrades, delivering technically complex projects across commercial and industrial assets throughout Sydney.
Known for their hands-on delivery style and long-standing client relationships, this contractor offers long-term stability and a strong pipeline of remedial work.
The Role
As Contracts Administrator, you will support the delivery of multiple remedial construction projects, typically valued between $1m–$9m, working closely with Project Managers and site teams.
You’ll be involved in the commercial management of live projects, including subcontractor engagement, cost control, progress claims and variations. The role suits someone who enjoys working on technically detailed projects where problem-solving and accuracy are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Administration of head contracts, subcontractor agreements and supplier packages
- Preparation, issue and management of subcontractor documentation and purchase orders
- Tracking project costs, variations, progress claims and payment schedules
- Assisting with procurement of specialist remedial trades and suppliers
- Maintaining accurate cost reports, forecasts and financial documentation
- Supporting Project Managers and site teams to ensure smooth commercial delivery
- Liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle
Skills & Experience
- 3–5+ years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator within remedial, refurbishment or commercial construction
- Exposure to remedial works such as concrete repair, façade upgrades, waterproofing or structural remediation (desirable)
- Experience supporting projects in the $2m–$9m range
- Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement and cost control
- High attention to detail with a methodical, solutions-focused approach
- Proficiency with MS Office and construction systems such as Aconex, Procore or similar
