Cook Colliery is currently in care and maintenance, and we have an opening for an Underground Operator to join our established underground crew.
It's steady, hands-on underground work alongside an experienced team.

- Underground care and maintenance across the operation
- Outbye work, conveyor and infrastructure maintenance
- Operating a range of underground machinery safely
- Keeping ventilation, roadways and underground infrastructure in good order
- Upholding safety and quality standards at all times

- What's on offer
- 7/7 even-time roster, 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights
- DIDO, with camp and meals provided
- Strong day rate plus market allowance, recognising Level 2 experience
- What you'll need
- At least 12 months underground coal experience
- Standard 11, or willing to obtain/refresh
- Current Coal Board Medical, or willing to obtain/refresh
- Valid driver's licence
- Full Australian working rights
- A team-first attitude, with the initiative to work unsupervised and adapt as the job demands
