Cordwells is looking for an experienced Boilermaker/Fabricator to join our team. We're after someone who can:
- Weld steel
- Fabricate components
- Repair quarry and concrete equipment
- Fix the thing that broke five minutes before knock-off
- Explain to management why it wasn't broken yesterday
Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication and welding of steel components
- Maintenance and repair of quarry and civil equipment
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- General workshop duties
- Fault finding and problem solving
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Maintaining housekeeping and workshop presentation standards
About You
- Trade Qualification as a Boilermaker/Welder
- Strong welding and fabrication skills
- Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings as well as decipher maintenance requests
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Current Driver's Licence
- Ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
