About your new role
We're seeking an experienced Tradesperson - Boilermaker/Fitter to join our Brisbane Carole Park team in a hands‑on, fabrication‑focused role.
With most of your time spent on fabrication and welding activities, you'll be responsible for manufacturing, modifying, and repairing a range of hydraulic, lubrication and fluid management equipment.
You'll also have the opportunity to apply your mechanical aptitude through fitting, assembly, repair, and general workshop support tasks as required.

- Your key responsibilities will include
- Fabrication, modification and repair of steel components, structures, and equipment
- MIG, TIG and Stick welding across a variety of materials
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Manufacturing and assembly of hydraulic, lubrication and refuelling system components
- General workshop fitting and assembly work as required
- Installation and repair of lubrication, hydraulic and refuelling equipment
- Assisting in the scoping and preparation of customer quotations
- Refurbishment and repair of customer equipment
- Completing all job records and workshop documentation accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining a high standard of quality workmanship
- Providing excellent customer service and technical support
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and identifying more efficient ways of working
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop environment
About You
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker/Fabricator
- Demonstrated fabrication and welding experience within an industrial or heavy workshop environment
- Strong welding, measuring and fabrication skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to undertake fitting duties as required
- Experience working with hydraulic, lubrication, fluid transfer or refuelling equipment (desirable)
- Strong commitment to quality, safety and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift Licence, Dogging or Rigging tickets highly regarded
