VIC High School English Tutor – Point Cook in Wyndham

You'll lead engaging group classes of 8–20 students, help them build confidence, master their subjects, and excel in their assessments, all while sharing your passion for learning. If you excelled in English and want to help students do the same, we have a Tutor role open at our Point Cook Campus. Bring your energy, ambition, and a love of the subject. You'll inspire students, grow as a communicator and leader, and pass on your passion to the next generation of high achievers.

Who we are: Contour was founded in 2020 by students who saw that the quality of your education was basically a lottery. We began with 5 students in a room. What you'll do:

• Teach – intuitively teach subject content to a full class of 8–20 students
• Coach – study skills and exam strategy
• Mentor – share your own experiences and form genuine connections
• Connect – build relationships that inspire students to keep going

For example, you might teach two classes on Monday and two on Tuesday (4:15–6:15pm and 6:45–8:45pm), plus two on Saturday morning (10:00am–12:00pm and 12:30–2:30pm).

What you'll bring:

• Strong communication and a knack for making hard concepts click
• Knowledge of English at first-year university level or above
• 99+ ATAR and a 43+ subject score in VCE English (highly desirable, not required)
• 6+ classes per week, committed across a full academic year (around 12+ hours weekly)
• Energy, empathy, and a desire to help students
• Alignment with Contour's mission (non-compete agreement required)
