ABOUT OUR ROLES:
With multiple projects across QLD for you to be a part of, you'll be responsible for:
- Belt Splicing, repairs, maintenance and installations of fabric and steel cord conveyor belts;
- Identification of belt damage, faults and determine method of repair;
- Shutdowns and belt change outs.
We also provide opportunities for our teams to be involved in Global Projects.
ABOUT YOU:
We’re looking for positive, energetic team players who possess previous experience in a Belt Splicing or Mechanical Technician on conveyor systems or a willingness to learn with mechanical aptitude, and an absolute commitment to safety and safe work practices, valid Drivers Licence, Confined Space and Working at Heights training, current EWP, Dogging and Rigging Licenses, ability to fulfill the inherent physical tasks required of this job – which will include repetitive lifting of weights up to 25kgs and working in hot climates. Whilst not essential, we would look favourably upon applicants who have a Certificate II or III in Polymer Processing.
