Join the dynamic team of Connect to Nursing Agency as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) based in Toowoomba, QLD. As an AIN, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality aged care services to our residents. This is a full-time or casual position, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians.
What you'll be doing:
- Assist registered nurses and other care staff in delivering personalised and holistic care to aged care residents.
- Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support.
- Monitor and record residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes to the nursing team.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote their physical and emotional wellbeing.
- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring residents' dietary needs are met.
What we're looking for:
- Completed Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing or similar role in an aged care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centred approach to care.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
