Connect Search and Selection – Brisbane QLD

Love being organised, helping people and making things happen? We're recruiting a Workplace Services Coordinator for an established and growing organisation in Brisbane. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, loves being busy and takes genuine satisfaction in making sure everything runs smoothly. It's not your typical desk-based administration role. One day you might be helping coordinate an internal event, the next organising workplace supplies, preparing meeting rooms, assisting visitors or making sure the workplace looks and feels its best.

If you're someone who naturally notices what needs doing and gets on with it, this could be a great opportunity for you.

The Opportunity

You’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming, organised and well-functioning workplace for employees, visitors and stakeholders. This is a hands-on, busy and varied role where you’ll be involved in:

  • Workplace support: Being a friendly, approachable point of contact for employees, visitors and leaders.
  • Events and activities: Helping coordinate internal events, team activities and workplace initiatives.
  • Facilities and presentation: Keeping shared spaces, meeting rooms and workplace amenities organised, welcoming and ready for use.
  • Logistics and coordination: Assisting with transport arrangements, deliveries, couriers and general workplace errands.
  • Supplies and services: Managing office supplies, refreshments, stock levels and workplace amenities.
  • Supplier coordination: Liaising with external providers, following up on service requests and ensuring workplace needs are met.

You’ll also have the opportunity to identify ways to improve workplace services and contribute to a positive employee experience.

About You

We're not necessarily looking for someone with years of corporate experience. You might be starting your career, have some experience in administration, hospitality, retail or customer service, or simply be looking for an opportunity to build your career in a professional workplace. What matters most is your attitude, initiative and willingness to get involved.

Ideally, you’ll be someone who:

  • Has a friendly, positive and approachable personality.
  • Is naturally organised and enjoys keeping things running smoothly.
  • Takes initiative and doesn’t wait to be asked.
  • Is happy to roll up their sleeves and help wherever needed.
  • Enjoys variety and can juggle competing priorities.
  • Communicates confidently and builds relationships easily.
  • Takes pride in the small details and delivering great service.
  • Brings energy, enthusiasm and a genuine willingness to learn.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This is a great opportunity to join an established organisation and gain exposure to a broad range of workplace operations, internal services and coordination activities. You’ll have the chance to work with different teams, build relationships across the business and develop practical skills that could open doors to future opportunities. Most importantly, you’ll be doing a job where the little things you do every day make a real difference.

Interested?

If you’re a practical, proactive and people-focused individual who enjoys helping others and making things happen, we’d love to hear from you.
