Are you an experienced B2B marketer who enjoys taking ownership, doing the work and seeing the results?
Join an established specialist technology business with operations across Australia and Asia-Pacific, and take responsibility for an existing, varied marketing programme.
About Congress
Congress provides specialist communication technology for conferences, meetings and major international events.
Our solutions include simultaneous interpretation, conference microphones, audiovisual systems, remote interpretation and emerging AI language technologies.
We work with government, corporate and international organisations across Australia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.
The opportunity
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will manage and deliver our established marketing activities, working closely with sales teams, country managers and external suppliers.
This is a genuinely hands‑on role: we need someone who can personally execute campaigns, not just develop plans for others to implement.
Your first priority will be to learn our business, take ownership of what is already in place and deliver it consistently.
As your understanding grows, you will help improve results and shape future marketing initiatives.
- What you’ll do
- Manage digital marketing activities including websites, SEO, Google Ads, email campaigns and marketing databases.
- Create and coordinate clear, engaging content for websites, case studies, brochures, newsletters and social media.
- Plan and deliver campaigns that generate relevant B2B enquiries; track performance, leads, costs and results.
- Coordinate exhibitions, sponsorships and industry relationships, including promotion and post-event follow-up.
- Work with colleagues across our Asia-Pacific businesses to adapt and coordinate marketing activities for local markets.
- Manage competing priorities, marketing suppliers and agreed budgets while maintaining consistent branding and messaging.
- What you’ll bring
- Ideally five or more years of relevant marketing experience, with proven hands‑on B2B responsibility.
- Broad practical skills across campaigns, digital channels, content and marketing systems—not just one specialisation.
- Evidence that you have independently planned, executed and measured marketing activities.
- Excellent written English, sound commercial judgement and strong organisational skills.
- Confidence working independently and collaboratively with sales teams, managers and external providers.
- Curiosity about technology, AI and new ways to improve marketing effectiveness.
- Experience in technology, professional services, conferences or other specialist B2B markets is useful, but not essential.
We can teach you our industry; you need to bring the marketing expertise.
Join a young, dynamic team where your ideas are welcomed and you can see the impact of your work.
You’ll have genuine ownership, direct access to the Managing Director and the opportunity to market interesting technology across several countries.
There may also be opportunities for occasional travel within Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, including to industry events and our regional offices.
As you learn the business, there will be the opportunity to contribute more strategically over time.
