Working alongside dermatologists, clinical assistants and administrative staff, you'll play an integral role in delivering high-quality medical, surgical, laser and cosmetic dermatology care. This is a varied clinical role combining hands-on procedural support, laser treatments, patient education and clinical coordination. We are seeking a Registered Nurse with at least 2–3 years of practical laser delivery experience. Previous experience in dermatology, skin medicine, cosmetic clinics or plastic surgery will be highly regarded, alongside a proactive approach, strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to patient care.

The Opportunity

You’ll work closely with the dermatologists to support consultations, medical and surgical procedures, laser treatments and ongoing patient management. This role is suited to a clinically confident and organised Registered Nurse who enjoys a hands-on position, takes pride in delivering exceptional patient experiences and can confidently balance clinical responsibilities with the operational demands of a busy specialist practice. You’ll have the opportunity to further develop your dermatology knowledge and treatment capabilities within a supportive team that values clinical excellence, collaboration and ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients, treatment rooms and equipment for consultations and procedures, maintaining strict infection control standards
  • Assist dermatologists with medical, surgical and laser dermatology procedures, including maintaining sterile fields, handling instruments, preparing pathology specimens and providing wound care
  • Deliver laser treatments and nurse-led therapeutic appointments within your scope of practice, training and certification
  • Educate patients on pre- and post-procedural care, skincare regimens and appropriate treatment options
  • Support patients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring clear communication, reassurance and high-quality aftercare
  • Manage clinical imagery, patient follow-ups, bookings and treatment coordination
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records, clinical documentation and correspondence
  • Assist with billing, Medicare and DVA claims, referrals, medical correspondence and treatment quotes
  • Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic, including occasional administrative duties
  • Maintain a clean, organised and compliant clinical environment in accordance with relevant healthcare regulations and clinic protocols
  • Work collaboratively with dermatologists and the wider team to deliver safe, efficient and patient-centred care
  • Participate in a rotating Saturday roster

About You

You are a Registered Nurse who combines sound clinical judgement with a warm, approachable manner and a genuine interest in dermatology and skin health.
