About the Opportunity:
Our client are a leading distribution and warehouse solution provider, with an exciting temporary opportunity to join their Export Administrative team based onsite in Crestmead. This role offers Monday – Friday work with typical hours between 7:00 am - 3:00pm
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Support the Export Manager to maintain Australian Quarantine records to meet export and audit requirements.
- Raise documentation for customs (AQIS Health Certificates, PRA & VGM)
- Liaise with freight forwarders to ensure adherence to schedules.
- Support the DC with configuration of container volumes.
- Upload orders into system and support with quotes and confirmations for customers.
- Provide customer service support in relation to shipping requirements.
- Raise invoices, claims, and credits.
- Organise courier collections for time sensitive deliveries or returns.
- Work with Inventory and Logistics team to ensure accurate product dates & batch codes.
- Provide support to the wider logistics team when required.
Experience and skills required to succeed in the role:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to review information and make appropriate decisions and suggestions.
- Great organisation and time management abilities
- Intermediate knowledge level of MS Office (Excel)
- Past logistics based administrative / export experience highly regarded.
