You will provide mechanical maintenance engineering support at a phosphate mining operation, working closely with maintenance and operational teams to improve equipment reliability and performance. You will undertake general maintenance engineering activities, investigate equipment failures and develop practical engineering solutions to support safe and effective site operations.
Working FIFO from Townsville on an 8/6 Wednesday-to-Wednesday roster, you will work 12-hour days and contribute to maintenance planning, work scope development and equipment improvement initiatives. This contract opportunity runs through to the end of June 2027, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to site maintenance and reliability outcomes.
