Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in civil construction and infrastructure delivery?
We're seeking a commercially astute and people-focused Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of civil infrastructure projects from planning and execution through to completion. This is an opportunity to join a highly respected contractor where you'll have genuine ownership of project outcomes, financial performance, client relationships, and team leadership.
About the Role
As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end management of multiple civil projects, ensuring exceptional outcomes across safety, quality, programme, commercial performance, and client satisfaction. You'll lead multidisciplinary project teams while driving productivity, innovation, and continuous improvement across operations.
Working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, you'll play a critical role in maintaining strong relationships, identifying opportunities, managing risk, and delivering projects safely and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, delivery, and completion of civil infrastructure projects.
- Manage project financial performance, budgets, forecasting, and reporting.
- Oversee project programming, construction methodologies, and resource planning.
- Drive safety, environmental, and quality compliance across all project activities.
- Build and maintain strong client, subcontractor, and stakeholder relationships.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Project Engineers, Site Engineers, and wider project teams.
- Manage contract administration, variations, and commercial negotiations.
- Identify opportunities to improve project outcomes, efficiencies, and business growth.
About You
- Proven experience delivering civil construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong commercial acumen with responsibility for project budgets and profitability.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing site-based project teams.
- A sound understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and project controls.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving, organisational, and decision-making capabilities.
- A relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline (desirable).
- Current driver's licence.
