Comprara is an Australian procurement consultancy.
Government, large corporates and not-for-profits bring us in to sharpen strategy, sourcing, spend visibility and team capability.
We're based in Melbourne, with people nationally, and have supported more than 200 organisations across Australia to do procurement better.
The Academy of Procurement is our training arm.
We deliver capability development in person and online, built around real procurement roles, problems and outcomes, and taught by people who have done the job at a senior level.
The Role
As demand for our procurement programs grows, we're expanding our network of contract facilitators.
When a client books a program, we bring in the right person to run it.
Sessions may be on a client's site or online, and may be local or interstate, so we'll match you to the work based on your location, experience and availability.
We work with procurement teams across government and large organisations.
Programs vary in length and audience, from practitioners building core skills through to senior teams working on more complex challenges.
You'll teach from existing Academy content, and we'll involve you in planning the delivery approach before the sessions, so you go in prepared and confident with the client's context.
What We're Looking For
You'll have senior procurement experience, whether as a practitioner, manager or executive, and a track record of running training or workshops for procurement professionals.
You know sourcing, category management, contract management and governance well enough to field tough questions from a room of practitioners.
Australian public sector experience, particularly Victorian, is an advantage, but we're open to other contexts.
This contracting arrangement is well suited to someone working independently, building a portfolio of work or looking to share their expertise alongside other commitments.
You'll let us know your availability, and we'll agree bookings with you in advance.
What You'll Get in Return
Paid delivery work with government and corporate clients, taught from ready-made content so you're teaching, not building courses.
We handle the client relationship and booking, so your time goes into preparing and delivering, not chasing work.
You'll be briefed and involved in the planning before each program, and you'll work with a range of teams across different sectors and levels of experience, which keeps the work varied.
You'll have the flexibility to accept opportunities that suit your schedule, while working alongside colleagues who understand your world.
