Immediate Start | Temp Role Up to 12 Weeks | Monday to Friday
We are seeking experienced Vegetation Maintenance Workers to join our client's roadside maintenance teams for temporary assignments of up to 12 weeks.
Monday to Friday – 6:30am start in Northern area of Central Coast
This is a hands-on outdoor role suited to candidates with experience in horticulture, landscaping, vegetation management, grounds maintenance or similar industries.
About the Role
Working as part of a roadside vegetation maintenance team, your duties will include:
- Operating push mowers, brush cutters / whipper snippers and blowers
- Litter collection and clean-up
- Use of a range of horticultural tools and equipment
- Working safely around roads and traffic
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
To be considered for these positions, you will have:
- WHS Construction/Induction White Card
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment urine drug screening
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors
- Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Highly Desirable
Experience or qualifications in the following will be advantageous:
- Traffic Control – IMP (Implement Traffic Control Plan)
- Horticulture or landscaping
- Tractor and plant operation
- Ride-on mower operation
- Chainsaw and pole pruner operation
- Hedge trimmer operation
- General horticultural equipment and tools
