We currently have a position available to join a town maintenance (Parks and Gardens) crew to assist with the upkeep of recreation areas, parks, sporting fields and public amenities in the Bathurst area.
Casual role, full time hours of work for approximately 4 months, possibly longer with exact duration to be determined by seasonal conditions.
Seeking genuine team players - immediate start of work is available for the right applicant.
Requirements:
- Construction Induction Certificate (white card)
- Current unrestricted driver licence (MR licence or above would be an advantage)
- Previous experience in the operation of plant and equipment such as lawn mowers, small tractors, edge/line trimmers, whipper snippers, hedgers and hand tools
- Previous experience in a similar role with gardening, grounds maintenance, irrigation work or landscaping
- A chemical handling card would be a bonus but is not essential
