- THE POSITION
- Accurately record patient meal orders, ensuring dietary preferences and restrictions are met.
- Work closely with clinical staff to verify patients’ nutritional needs and health conditions.
- Communicate with kitchen staff to relay patient meal requirements and preferences.
- Double-check patient orders before meals are prepared and delivered.
- Maintain accurate records of meal orders and dietary changes.
- THE PERSON
- Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting, ideally in patient meal coordination or nutrition support.
- Strong understanding of dietary restrictions, special diets, and nutrition requirements.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both clinical staff and kitchen teams.
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Must have or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance.
