About COMO Therapy

COMO Therapy is a mobile paediatric therapy service supporting children and adolescents across Canberra.

We provide practical, evidence-based therapy that helps children participate more confidently at home, school and in the community. Every therapy program is tailored to each child's goals and designed to achieve meaningful, real-world outcomes.

As a smaller paediatric clinic, we intentionally keep caseloads manageable so our clinicians have the time to deliver high-quality, individualised care rather than rushing from appointment to appointment.

The Role

You'll work with children with a wide range of developmental, neurological, musculoskeletal and physical needs, helping them build the skills and confidence to participate more fully in everyday life.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering mobile therapy services across homes, schools, daycares and community settings
  • Assessing movement, strength, mobility and functional participation
  • Developing individualised therapy and exercise programs tailored to each child's goals
  • Helping children improve strength, coordination, mobility, endurance and participation in everyday activities
  • Working collaboratively with families, educators and other allied health professionals
  • Providing clinical direction and support for Allied Health Assistant-delivered programs
  • Completing clinical documentation, progress notes and NDIS reports

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships with children and families and wants to make a genuine difference.

  • A recognised Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology qualification
  • Current AHPRA registration (Physiotherapist) or ESSA accreditation (Accredited Exercise Physiologist)
  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
  • A current driver's licence and your own vehicle
  • Current WWVP registration and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Genuine passion for working with children and families

Highly Regarded (but not essential):

  • Experience working with children
  • Community or NDIS experience
  • Musculoskeletal, neurological or rehabilitation experience
  • Experience preparing clinical reports and funding documentation
