Your Team
You will join the Adviser Digital Team within Customer Office, working alongside Product Owners, UX/UI Designers and content specialists.
The team supports CFS priorities across growth and retention, retirement innovation, digitisation, service transformation and empowering our people.
In this role, you will bring a deep understanding of adviser and practice workflows to digital and AI-enabled initiatives, helping create a coherent First Choice platform experience that saves advisers time and supports them to serve more Australians in need of advice.
- Your Responsibilities
- Own the adviser experience backlog across the adviser platform and AI initiatives, prioritising by adviser value, business outcomes and regulatory requirements.
- Map key adviser and practice workflows and identify opportunities to embed AI.
- Partner with Technology, Operations and Product teams to shape AI agent use cases, including hand-offs to platform experiences or people.
- Plan and lead discovery and testing with advisers and practice staff, working closely with UX Designers.
- Define success measures and use data, analytics and adviser feedback to iterate after release.
- Identify where AI can genuinely remove effort for advisers and where it cannot.
- Connect AI agent capabilities with the adviser platform experience to create one coherent experience.
- Communicate progress, risks and trade-offs to stakeholders, including the executive leadership team.
- Assess external trends and competitor experiences to inform the roadmap.
- Your Capability and Experience
- Deep understanding of financial advisers, their practices and day-to-day workflows, supported by experience in superannuation or wealth management.
- Demonstrated success as a Product Owner, leading complex digital products, platforms or customer journeys from strategy and discovery through delivery, adoption and optimisation.
- Experience shaping, delivering or testing AI-enabled features, such as conversational, automation or decision-support capabilities, with a sound grasp of accuracy and responsible AI considerations.
- Strong capability in prioritisation, MVP definition, experimentation, backlog management and evidence-based decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong customer and commercial judgement, balancing user needs, business value, operational efficiency, scalability and risk.
- Strong technical fluency, with the ability to partner effectively with engineering teams and understand platforms, integrations and performance measures.
Desirable
- Conversational design experience, or familiarity with designing agent journeys and prompts.
- Hands-on curiosity about AI tools and a clear point of view on where they genuinely help and where they do not.
- Relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualifications.
