We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Carpet Cleaner to join the team at Commercial Facilities Integrated. This is a full-time position based in Penrith, NSW 2750. As a Commercial Carpet Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of commercial properties, ensuring our clients' facilities remain in pristine condition. This position is essential to our service delivery and directly impacts client satisfaction and retention.
What you'll be doing
- Operating and maintaining commercial carpet cleaning equipment, including steam cleaners, extraction machines, and specialised carpet treatment systems
- Performing thorough carpet cleaning services for a variety of commercial premises, including Clubs, Hotels and corporate facilities
- Pre-treating carpets with appropriate cleaning solutions and identifying specific stains or problem areas requiring specialised attention
- Inspecting carpets before and after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met and documenting work completed
- Following health and safety protocols and properly handling and storing cleaning chemicals in compliance with workplace regulations
- Providing professional customer service and communicating effectively with clients about cleaning requirements and timelines
- Maintaining cleanliness of vehicles and equipment, and reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Assisting with carpet protection treatments and applying appropriate sealants where required
- Working independently and as part of a team to meet daily cleaning schedules and deadlines
What we're looking for
- Proven experience working as a commercial carpet cleaner or in a similar cleaning services role
- Sound knowledge of commercial-grade carpet cleaning equipment and techniques
- Understanding of different carpet types and appropriate cleaning methods for each
- Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy equipment throughout the day
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport to travel between job sites
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet schedule requirements
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach
- Current or willingness to obtain relevant certifications in carpet cleaning or cleaning services
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and workplace safety compliance
