Comlink helps older people and people with disability live well at home, on their terms. We need a person with the eye for detail to get the job right, the warmth to make it feel easy, and the reliability to turn up on time.
This is not a tick the box cleaning job. It's housekeeping, meals and the odd trip to the shops, done the way each client likes it. The pride in a job done well is yours.
What your days look like
- A home that feels good. Vacuum, dust and clean, the way each client likes it done.
- Meals and groceries. Prepare meals and pick up basic groceries when asked.
- Out and about. Drive clients to appointments and the places that matter to them.
- Noticing. Spot changes in how a client is eating, moving or feeling, and tell your Team Manager early.
- The right way. Follow each care plan, keep clear file notes, and report incidents within 24 hours.

We care as much about how you work as what you know. You'll probably be the person who:
- Turns up on time, every time.
- Asks for help when needed, and offers it when others do.
- Stays calm when the day goes sideways, and knows when to call the Team Manager.
- Brings a smile and a bit of fun, and knows when someone needs quiet.
- Spots a better way to do a job, and shares it.
- Does what you said you'd do, down to the last corner.
What you'll bring
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Experience doing domestic duties to a high standard.
- Genuine empathy and clear communication with older people.
Experience supporting diverse communities will be highly regarded. A current driver licence, a registered car with a Certificate of Currency for your car insurance, an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a state-based Traffic History Report are required. Influenza vaccination is recommended.
