Home and Garden Maintenance Professional
Help people stay safe, independent and proud of the place they call home.
Some people see a garden. You see safety, independence and pride.
At Comlink Australia, we help older Australians and community members remain living safely and independently in the homes they love.
From mowing a lawn and trimming hedges to fixing small household hazards, the work you do has a direct impact on a person's wellbeing, confidence and quality of life. Every visit is an opportunity to make someone's day easier, safer and more enjoyable.
We're looking for a practical, reliable and community-minded Home & Garden Maintenance Professional to join our team.
This isn't just another maintenance role. It's an opportunity to use your skills to help people maintain their independence while building genuine connections within the community.
What your days look like
No two days are exactly the same, but your work will include:
Keeping outdoor areas safe and accessible. Lawn mowing and edging, garden maintenance and pruning, weed management and general grounds upkeep, basic garden clean-ups and presentations.
Supporting safer homes. Minor household repairs and maintenance, gutter cleaning, window cleaning, high-access cleaning tasks, identifying and reporting maintenance concerns and hazards.
Supporting our participants. Building positive relationships with clients, providing respectful and professional customer service, promoting independence and wellbeing, reporting observations and concerns appropriately.
Working safely and effectively. Operating and maintaining tools and equipment, complying with workplace health and safety requirements, maintaining accurate records and documentation, representing Comlink professionally within the community.
